The Zubrod Stables academy program is the best way to introduce a rider to the show ring. It allows a rider to become familiar with many different environments and teaches our students many life lessons about being a good sport and working hard to achieve their goals.
We attend approximately five academy shows each year from May to September. In Academy competitions, riders wear dark, solid-colored Jodphur pants, a button-up oxford shirt, vest, and tie. Helmets may be required at some shows. Most riders compete in tournaments for one season before moving on to Academy.
